BEACON PROGRAM

Our Beacon program operates at PS 361 Woodside Community School Monday - Friday from 2:30pm to 9:30pm and Saturdays from 10:00am to 5:00pm and it offers youth a safe place to be during the hours that juveniles are typically victims of crime or engage in criminal activity themselves. One of the best things about the program is that it brings together various community members and gets them actively involved in helping kids learn and grow.


The Beacon program is funded by DYCD and serves hundreds of working families in our community by providing afterschool program, summer camp, health and fitness programs, as well as citizenship and English courses.

All Beacon Events will be held at PS.361 Woodside Community School

Registration and Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination is Required:
