SANDY RELIEF EFFORTS WITH WOODSIDE ON THE MOVE,  MURPHY’S BAR, and SKILLMAN PETS

WOTM’s After School Program at P.S. 11 (52-24 Skillman Avenue) and several local businesses including Murphy’s Bar (48-20 Skillman Ave), Claret Wine Bar (46-02 Skillman Avenue), The Brogue Bar (49-10 Skillman Avenue), Quaint Restaurant (46-10 Skillman avenue), and Skillman Pets (49-16 Skillman Avenue) are accepting donations for those affected by Super Storm Sandy in Staten Island, Breezy Point, and the Rockaways.

PS11 will accept donations Mondays-Fridays (8:30am-5:30pm), and participating  businesses will accept donations during their regular open hours, until further notice.

Skillman Pets will be collecting pet food, cat litter, and other pet necessities, Mondays-Saturdays (10am-7pm), until further notice.

What to donate (PS11/Murphy’s Bar/The Brogue/Quaint Restaurant/Claret Wine Bar):

clothing:

  • socks
  • blankets
  • rubber boots
  • baby coats
  • new underwear
  • no other clothes

tools:

hygiene:

  • laundry detergent
  • toilet paper
  • spray bleach
  • big sponges
  • clorox wipes
  • deodorant
  • paper towels
  • toothbrushes & paste
  • diapers
  • feminine products

food:

  • juice
  • infant formula & bottles
  • easily stored and prepared food
  • can openers
