Woodside On The Move, Inc. donates $1,077.45 to the Haitian Earthquake Relief effort.

April 15th, 2010

In response to the devastating events in Haiti, Woodside On The Move, Inc., donated 100% of the proceeds raised in their fundraising campaign, Health For Haiti. Funds were generated though the sales of healthy snacks.  The children and the families in our DYCD funded OST after-school programs at PS 11 and PS 152  showed a tremendous response and commitment to ensuring that our goal of assisting the people of Haiti to help them in any way to recover from the massive Earthquake that struck the Island in January 2010 would be accomplished.

Woodside On The Move, Inc., as well as the children and families that attend our after-school programs, hope that this donation will be utilized to aide in the recovery effort and to help provide the necessary resources for the children and families of Haiti.

An Important Message from the U.S. Census Bureau

April 2nd, 2010

If you have received it,

fill it out and mail it back.

It is important that each of you not only fill out and mail back your form, but also ask your relatives, friends, co-workers and neighbors do the same.

Remember that it costs taxpayers just $ 0.42 per household if the form is mailed back, but it cost $ 57 dollars per household to follow up with people who do not respond by mail.  That means that for every 1% increase in the number of households that mail the form back, taxpayers save about $ 85 million.
