Out of the School Time (OST) Free Summer Camp Program

FOR CHILDREN CURRENTLY 5-12 YEARS OLD ( FOR KINDERGARDEN DOB MUST BE PRIOR TO JUNE 30, 2008 AND FOR GRADE 6, DOB MUST BE AFTER AUGUST 31,2000

Woodside On The Move, Inc Summer Camp Program. One lottery application per family, please list all the children in your family in one application.

Please do not sunmit more than one lottery form -SUBMITTING MULTIPLE FORMS WILL DISQUALIFY THE FAMILY FROM ENTERING HE LOTTERY( NO EXCEPTIONS) 

Lottery forms will be available at the Woodside On The Move, Inc. Main Office, located at 39-42 59th Street, 2nd floor, beginning Monday March 4,2013 to Thursday, March 14, 2013, between the hours of 10:00AM to 4:00PM

Lottery forms will also be available during the hours of 3:00pm to 6:00pm, Monday, March 4, 2013 to Thursday, March 14,2013 at PS 11Q, located at 54-25 Skillman Avenue, Woodside, NY 11377 and PS 152Q, located at 33-52 62nd Street, Woodside, NY 11377

Deadline- March 14, 2013-4PM. All lottery forms must be received at the Woodside On The Move, Main office: 39-42 59th Street, Woodside, NY 11377

** Summer Camp availability will depend on City Funding **

ADULT LITERACY & ESL FREE COURSE: REGISTRATION STILL OPEN

Woodside on the Move is currently  recruiting students for its Adult Literacy and ESL Program!

If you are looking for better job opportunities or just want to improve your communication, it’s time to register for this free program.  DATE CHANGE: The program will run from Wednesday November 15,2012 -Wednesday June 21, 2013. 

Program includes:
Instruction for English as second language learners.

Where: PS 11 Library: 54-25 Skillman Avenue, Woodside.

Time: 3pm-6pm Tuesdays and Wednesdays

PROGRAMA DE INGLES COMO SEGUNDA LENGUA PARA ADULTOS

Woodside on the Move actualmente esta resgistrando a personas interesadas en el programa de ingles como segunda lengua.

Si estas buscando mejorar tus oportunidades  de trabajo o solo quieres mejorar tu comunicacion es el momento de registrarte este programa es gratis! Registrate ahora! El Programa comienza miercoles 14 de noviembre 2012 – miercoles junio 21, 2013.

Programa incluye: ESL, ingles como segunda lengua.

Donde: libreria de la escuela publica PS11Q: 54-25 Skillman Avenue, Woodside.

Hora: 3pm-6pm martes-miercoles

2012-2013 OST AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM ENROLLMENT UPDATES

LOTTERY REGISTRATION:
Thursday, September 6 AND 7 -  Lottery registration forms will be dispersed to all students at P.S. 11 and P.S. 152.
DUE TO A PRINTING ISSUE, REGISTRATION FORMS WILL BE SENT HOME WITH STUDENTS FROM P.S.11 ON MONDAY SEPTEMBER 10.
Saturday, September 8 - Lottery registration forms will be available (to students attending other local schools) at the Woodside on the Move Autumn Street Fair.
Friday, September 14, 5pm - Lottery registration forms are due for both schools. Forms should be dropped off to WOTM Main Offices at 39-42 59th Street, off of Roosevelt Avenue in Woodside.
LOTTERY DRAWING:
Wednesday, September 19, 6pm - Lottery drawing for P.S. 152.
WEDNESDAY, September 19, 6pm – Lottery drawing for P.S. 11. PLEASE NOTE DATE CHANGE
PROGRAM START DATES:
Monday, September 24 – First day of After School Programs for P.S. 11 (all students). First day of After School Programs for P.S. 152 students in grades 3-6.
Monday, October 1 – First day of After School Programs for P.S. 152 students in grades K-2.


Woodside on the Move’s After School Programming is funded by the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development with support from Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer, and by ConEdison.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS RESTORED

Woodside on the Move is happy to announce that funding has been restored for its After School Programs at P.S.11 and P.S. 152 for the 2012-2013 academic year. Thank you to everyone who showed support at our May rallies, and a special thank you to Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer for advocating for our community in City Council.

The program registration and lottery will both happen in September, and the start date will be delayed from the standard schedule.

Further enrollment information will be released in the coming weeks.
