HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM WOODSIDE ON THE MOVE

We at WOTM wish you and your families a wonderful holiday season and the very best start to a New Year.

For us, 2012 was a year of teamwork and triumph: we fought hard for and achieved the restoration of funds for our OST After School Programs (providing over 700 placements for after school and summer camp programming, as well as over 60 jobs); we started some new traditions with the Woofside Halloween Pet Parade and the Taste of Woodside; and we continued our other tried and true traditions like our street fairs, summer concert series, and Christmas Tree Lighting Event; and, as always, we provided important free services such as Housing Case Management, and pulled together a donations drive for Sandy Relief. We know that these successes would simply not be possible without the support of our funders, our politicians, our local business owners, and our community members.

We thank you for making 2012 another wonderful year; may 2013 be even better.

WOTM CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING EVENT SLIDE SHOW

Also, a heartfelt thank you to our Councilmember Jimmy Van Bramer for donating Woodside’s Christmas tree, and to all of the carolers from PS11 After School Program, St. Sebastian’s, and PS152 After School Program who brought plenty of holiday spirit!
